Tart Recipe: Tarte Vaniglia, Cioccolato e Caramello
Ingredients:
- 1 premade tart crust
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Bake the tart crust according to package instructions, then let it cool completely
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped dark chocolate until melted and smooth
Let it cool slightly
In another saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and vanilla bean seeds
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns into a golden caramel color
Remove from heat and carefully stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined
Pour the caramel mixture into the cooled tart crust, spreading it evenly
Pour the chocolate ganache over the caramel layer in the tart crust
Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours, or until set
Slice and serve chilled
