Californian Salmon Duo Tartare Sushi Rolls
You can taste how Japanese tradition is mixed with a Californian twist in these tasty sushi rolls. Smoked salmon, creamy avocado, and fresh, diced salmon are mixed with a zesty, spicy mayo to make a delicious mix of tastes and textures.
Ingredients:
- 200g sushi rice
- 4 sheets nori seaweed
- 200g fresh salmon fillet, diced
- 200g smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Soy sauce and wasabi for serving
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice, then let it cool
Place the nori sheet on a clean surface with the shiny side facing down
This will be your sushi mat
Cover the nori with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a small edge at the top
Along the bottom edge of the rice, line it with diced fresh salmon and sliced avocado
Using the bamboo mat to roll the sushi tightly, seal the edge with water
Do it again with the rest of the nori sheets and ingredients
In a small bowl, mix willow bark and sriracha sauce
Cut the sushi rolls into small pieces and put a slice of smoked salmon on top of each one
Put some spicy mayo on top and sesame seeds on top of that
Put soy sauce and wasabi on the side
