Steakhouse Style Baked Potato



These Steakhouse Style Baked Potatoes are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and loaded with creamy sour cream, melted cheddar cheese, and fresh chives. They make a perfect side dish for any meal!

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 4 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped chives

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then dry them with paper towels

Pierce each potato several times with a fork

Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until they are tender and the skins are crisp

Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly

Slice each potato lengthwise and fluff the insides with a fork

Top each potato with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, and a garnish of chopped chives

Serve immediately and enjoy!
