Pumpkin Reuben Burger

The Pumpkin Reuben Burger combines the flavors of fall with the classic Reuben sandwich. The pumpkin-infused beef patty is juicy and full of autumn goodness, while the sauerkraut and Swiss cheese provide that iconic Reuben taste. It's a unique and delicious twist on a favorite sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put the ground beef and canned pumpkin puree in a bowl and mix them together

Add pepper and salt to taste

Cut the pumpkin beef mixture into four equal parts and form each one into a burger patty

Warm up a grill or griddle on the stove over medium-high heat

The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them

In the last minute of cooking, put a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty and let it melt

Cut the hamburger buns in half and spread Thousand Island dressing on the cut sides

While the other pan is still hot, melt the butter in it

In the butter, toast the buns until they are golden brown

To put the burgers together, put a patty of pumpkin beef with melted Swiss cheese on the bottom bun

Put sauerkraut and the other half of the bun on top

Enjoy your Pumpkin Reuben Burgers while they're still hot
